star! This is a real Y-84 "Special Bandit Edition" loaded with
factory options including WS-6 handling package.
EXTERIOR: Real starlight black car. Body and paint is very good. It
has complete Special Edition gold bird and stripe package. The
grills in the front bumper have gold accents and the trim around
the windows are blacked out, all part of the Bandit package. The
shaker hood scoop is not cut or drilled. The weather strips and
window seals have been replaced. Has the optional 15x8 snowflake
wheels with gold accents, they are new. BFG tires. Also has the
desirable glass T-tops option.
INTERIOR: It is a deluxe interior with plenty of options. Power
windows and locks, rear defog, lamp group, tilt wheel and factory
cassette stereo. New leather wrapped formula wheel with gold
spokes. The machine turned instrument panel is gold anodized. The
upholstery is redone, headliner and carpet was replaced. Console
and door panels are orifinal condition.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: The motor was upgraded with a 455, it runs
strong. Has Holley carb, HEI ignition and headers
New alternator and master cylinder. It is a factory air
conditioning car, some parts are missing. All the parts are
available.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Has power release. Solid as a rock. New black
carpet mat and weather strip.
UNDERSIDE: Completely solid. No rust or patches. The inner rockers
are clean. Even the lower inner 1/4s are clean with original drain
plugs. Front end was rebuilt- ball joints bushings, shocks etc. New
frame bushings. Bottom of motor and the Turbo 400 trans look clean.
Has stainless Pypes exhaust system with X-pipe. Disc brakes at all
4 wheels. Has sway bars and posi rear.
This is a good, solid example of a very desirable car. Highly
optioned too. Watch out for the Smokeys!
