STK 2616 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
This 2-owner Mustang Shelby GT500 is a modern day classic. The
'retro-themed' GT500 convertible is finished in Race Red with
unique bumpers, grille, hood wheels and spoiler. It also features
Matte Black stripes on the hood and side panels. The heart of the
matter is the drivetrain. Our Shelby GT500 is powered by an
aluminum 5.4-liter DOHC supercharged V-8 producing 550bhp and 510
lb/ft of torque. Combined with the six-speed manual transmission, a
stock Shelby GT500 has run the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at
115.8 mph and still pulled 1.01g on a skid pad. Our Mustang is
equipped with ABS vented Brembo 14" vented disc brakes w/4 piston
calipers and power steering with three driver selectable steering
modes. The three modes are: Comfort - lightens steering effort and
lessens road feel; Sport - gives the driver the most steering feel
and requires the most effort; Normal - balances the other two.
Ford's AdvanceTrac electronic stability control differential is
also standard equipment on the Mustang GT500. Base GT500s ride on
19" aluminum alloys, while those with the SVT Performance Package
get meaner looking 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged aluminum
wheels and Goodyear Eagle F-1 performance radials. This Mustang has
this wheel/tire option along with some other SVT options, but we
are not sure that it is an 'SVT' GT500 because we do not have the
original documentation. This convertible is fully equipped with
power top, climate controlled A/C, premium AM/FM/CD, power tinted
windows/seats/locks, cruise, tilt wheel and keyless entry. Our
Mustang has Charcoal/Black leather seating and dual front airbags
and front seat-mounted side airbags. Another standard feature,
Ford's SOS Post-Crash Alert System, will flash the signal lights
and sound its horn in the event of an accident. No doubt, this is
truly a special 'Boss Hoss" that has been pampered by both owners
