Rare Nova convertible has had a ground up custom pro-touring/show
car build. Many mechanical upgrades make it a pleasure to drive. I
sold this car 6 years ago to a couple that pampered it. She even
hand made seat covers to protect the seats. They won over 40
trophies!
EXTERIOR: Slick! Exceptionally clean body. It's straight with no
issues. The panels fit square and flush. Doors click shut. Has a
metal cowl hood. Paint is a polished gloss red. Hand pinstripe was
tastefully added. Jambs are slick. New chrome and trim. Even the
window frames are rechromed. All new smoked glass including
windshield. Taillights are LED. The 15 inch aluminum wheels were
the perfect choice. Has Goodyear tires. The tan power top adds
class, it's a rich German cloth.
INTERIOR: Very classy, full custom interior. Rich colors on the
upholstery. Custom bucket seats are both full power. Has a real
nice console with cup holders. The dash is beautiful. The metal is
painted red as slick as the outside. Highly polished aluminum
instrument bezel has white face gauges. Modern a/c controls and
nice oval aluminum vents. Tilt steering column is chrome with a
custom wheel. Wiper and headlight controls are hidden under the
dash. Custom 1 piece carpet fits real nice. Has Dynamat under it.
Has custom billet pedals. Everything is new- mirrors, handles,
armrests etc. Has retractable seatbelts. JVC stereo with aux plug.
Speakers are molded into the kick panels.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow! That's what people say when you open the
hood. Polished parts and gloss paint fills the compartment.
Completely reconstructed inner fenders, tubular support bars. It's
all painted gloss red. Claimed to be a 350 crate motor. Upgraded
with aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke, Accel
electronic ignition and coated headers. New power brake system, new
power steering. Vintage Air heat and a/c system. The hoses are
hidden behind the inner fender. Has aluminum pulleys. Runs cool
thanks to an aluminum radiator with electric fan and a polished
overflow. It is show quality.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered to match the
interior. The battery was relocated to the trunk behind a panel.
Bottom of trunk lid and jamb are slick, new weatherstrip. A car
cover and seat covers are included.
UNDERSIDE: It has had substantial upgrades. This unibody design was
given a frame with 4 welded in frame rails. This makes it strong
and handle better. Up front a complete TCI steering and suspension
unit was installed. Features include tubular control arms, rack &
pinion steering, sway bar and disc brakes. Bottom of the motor is
clean. Trans was upgraded from a 2 speed auto to a 700R-4 overdrive
auto for highway cruising. In back it has 10 bolt rear, air shocks
and replaced fuel tank. E-brake cables are hooked up. A dual
Flowmaster exhaust system sounds great.
Only 5,916 miles since the ground up custom build. I know quality
and this car has it. Tastefully done, functions fantastic. Nothing
to do but enjoy!
