Pagoda top SL’s are highly collectible, one year only 250 SL’s were the lowest production, and the California Coupe is even rarer. On the California Coupe, the soft-top was deleted, fitting the car with a functional rear seat. This beautiful car comes with the Pagoda top and a custom tonneau cover. This is a numbers matching car with all documentation from 44k miles forward. It’s in excellent running condition.
This car was born April 1967 and headed to Italy. From there, it arrived in Northern California. Bought amongst friends, current owner has had the car for 31 years. In 1988 the car was restored. The car has been refinished in MB Silver Metallic. There is some paint bubbling only on the rear pan. There are no dings, dents or rust on the rest of the car.
The head was rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago to now accept unleaded fuel. The car also has an electronic ignition and oil bypass to better lubricate the top of the motor.
This roadster rides on Truespoke wire wheels. Original rims and hubcaps are included with the car. This is the perfect roadster for the discriminating enthusiast.
