1915 Ford Model T Roadster (Chemical Fire Truck replica) - Rocky Mountain brakes, Warford transmission, runs, good condition, restored in 2006, last driven 2014, garaged since restoration.
The restoration was completed in 2006. The vehicle is originally a 1915 Roadster, however most of the body parts were rusted beyond repair. The fenders and the engine hood are purchased body panels. The remaining body work is custom. The "chemical tanks" are storage for tools or personal items. There are several unique items including the hand pump brass fire extinguisher, the gas oil and water cans, fire axe, brass fire bell and brass nozzle.
The engine is a stock Model T engine, rebuilt in 2006. It runs well, although it has not been driven since 2015. There is an electric starter. It can also be started by cranking. It has a magneto and extra spark coil boxes.
The Model T drives well with average speeds of 25 to 40 mph. It is also great for parades.
This Model T has been at dozens of tours in the southwest (Arizona/California/New Mexico/Utah). It was also at the 2008 Centennial Celebration of the Model T in Indiana.
The Model T comes with a the trailer that was custom made for this vehicle. It is a simple open trailer and tows very well.
