Vehicle Description
The F1 pickup for 1949 was and still is a "little Jewel". Ford's
literature called it the "Million Dollar" truck body featuring
level action cab suspension; insulated from frame weave, noise and
vibration. Body has the stake pockets for oak stake sides; new
rainforest tail gate. This beautiful truck was believed to have
36,838 miles. Body had some lumps and rust which was all restored.
New metal floor, new oak bed with chrome runners. Seat fuel tank
was replaced with new rear fuel cell. Front fenders new; rear
original. Engine opened, inspected, tuned, painted - new clutch,
bearing and pressure plate. NOS bumper, grill, chrome, etc. New
brakes and master cylinder. Comes with pictorial presentation of
frame off restoration. Body professionally painted in shoal green
with wide whitewalls and matching wheels, comes with spare wheel.
Interior is restored to new, including dash, radio delete, seats,
all new glass and seals. Wiper and fuel gauge not hooked up. Truck
runs and drives good; all else works including lights. All books,
