Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute has a cool color combo,
an even cooler A/C interior, and a very hot 425 hp big block under
the hood that you control with a five-speed. So this is the kind of
powerful muscle machine that knows how to be memorable everywhere
you go.
Chevrolet offered yellow on the Chevelle in '67, but it was never
as bold as this. While the paint makes a modern statement, it
highlights the whole vintage muscle car canvas. So you really get
to see great Chevelle elements like the wraparound chrome bumpers
and flying buttress c-pillars on this hardtop roof. Plus, it's
properly upgraded to be a Super Sport with the faux hood louvers
and full rocker trim. Even the upgraded 17-inch alloys have a
classic style because they are American Racing Torq Thrust units.
You might have also noticed how the dark tinted windows, SS grille,
and blacked-out rear panel look great against the yellow, and that
same attitude continues inside.
The full custom interior utilizes black as the primary color, and
the exterior-bold yellow is used for accenting. The classic
Chevelle style is updated with front bucket seats and a custom cup
holder center console in-between. The black & chrome steering wheel
(power steering) is on a tilt column so you can get a good view of
the upgraded gauge panel. This is the kind of setup you'll love
cruising all day long, and the cold-blowing air conditioning means
you can do it without breaking a sweat.
Under the hood the bold yellow in the smooth engine bay funnels all
your attention to the black accessories on the motor. So yes, this
has a terrific color combo everywhere that will really keep people
talking. But what you'll really love about this setup is the big
power it delivers. It's a fresher Vortec 454 cubic-inch V8, and it
has been upgraded with a Holley double-pumper four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, aluminum radiator, and long tube
headers that add power while contributing to the rumble of the dual
exhaust. It's a total power package that makes 425 hp at the crank
and delivers 362 hp to the rear wheels (and we have the dyno sheet
to prove it!) You have complete control over this big power package
and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the upgraded Tremec
five-speed manual transmission. This feeds a versatile 3.73 rear
end with Positraction.
Bold and powerful, this is a great classic for those who love a
good muscle machine. Call now!
