1967 PONTIAC GTO:
PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED - P.H.S.DOCUMENTED
NEW ARRIVAL: This P.H.S. {Pontiac Historical Services} documented
1967 GTO hardtop was purchased from a longtime owner of 25 years
who reluctantly and with a heavy heart sold us this beautiful car.
Interesting story about it's history, The guy we got the car from
is career military and his love of this car with the help from the
military allowed him the pleasure to have the car follow him
everywhere he was stationed over the years in California, Texas,
Colorado, Hawaii and where I found it Virginia. Originally
purchased in Southern California in 1993, the car was in need of
total restoration. We have pictures and receipts that shows the car
was professionally restored.
The body is very straight, solid and clean including the floors,
trunk and frame, It did have a few panels replaced but you wouldn't
know it also proving it was professionally restored. It was painted
in original ''Tyrol Blue'' in base/clear and I must say, is
absolutely stunning!! Slick and smooth with a deep luster and show
car shine !! All the chrome, trim and weather stripping was also
replaced or redone to new and all still looks great. The blue
bucket seat interior was also replace new during it's extensive
restoration and also looks like it just rolled off the showroom
floor.
Power comes from a rebuilt 400 c.i.d. 4bbl. engine that runs smooth
and strong and it's backed by a tight shifting 4 speed manual
transmission with original Hurst shifter and it's original 10 bolt
safe-t-trac rear with 3:23 gears.
Other features include power steering, power brakes, am radio,
Rally II wheels with redline tires, correct dual exhaust with
trumpet tips and lots more !!
This GTO is very, very nice. It has always been garaged, loved and
well cared for over the years and still looks new and It runs and
drives as good as it looks !! No Disappointments !!!
