for sale. The Mercedes-Benz 250C is powered by a 2.8L inline
6-cylinder engine that is mated to an automatic transmission. Both
the engine and transmission are in good condition and power down
the road with ease.
The exterior has been repainted with a deep maroon color that
complements the style of the car nicely. Though the paint does show
a fair amount of wear, the car still has a beautiful classic
Mercedes look. Featuring matching paint, the wheels are in good
condition and add to the look of the car. This Mercedes coupe also
has chrome trim around the exterior and front fog lights.
Moving to the interior you will find brown leather seating that is
in great condition and is paired with a black dashboard. The
dashboard features what is believed to be the original Becker
Europa radio which was an option that could be selected when
ordering the car in 1971. Contrasting with the dark interior is an
off-white perforated leather headliner.
Mechanically this car is in good condition and with power steering,
cruise control, and the smooth I6 engine, driving this beautiful
classic Benz is a pleasure. The 250C offered here comes with all
the original owner's manuals and other original documents that make
for a really cool piece of history. These Mercedes are known for
their reliability and this example is a testament to that as it
maintains a high level of originality.
In 1968, Mercedes Benz introduced the midsize W114/W115 series cars
that sat underneath the full-size models. W114 models came with
six-cylinder engines, while the W115 came with four-cylinder
engines. A coupe model was introduced in 1969 and featured unique
sheet metal and a stylish "pillarless" hardtop design. Just 67,048
coupes were produced until 1976, making them quite rare. Please
