Vehicle Description
Prepare to have all eyes on you with a rare steel 1934 Ford Ute
(utility coupe) that has been given plenty of investments to give
it a terrific hot rod roadster flair.
For a quick history lesson, the Ute is a popular style in Australia
where the truck bed is a seamless part of the body. And while they
have been doing this long before and long after Ford's Ranchero in
the USA, a pre-war classic like this is a very rare sight on our
shores. And it's this kind of history that's exactly why it
received a thorough restoration/transformation. The glossy black
was applied to the all steel body when this Ford was given a full
frame-off restoration in 2005, and the way it still shines today
really tells you the quality of the work. Good sheetmetal and the
sleek paint really make for a terrific way to showcase the seamless
profile of this truck. The bright waterfall grille, large
headlights, and curvy front bumper give it classic style. And that
nicely joins custom elements like the low-slung windshield that
makes this a true roadster, and there's the folding tonneau cover
that protects the glossy bed. And lovers of details will marvel at
the whitewall tires and two-piece trim on the wheels. Plus, those
red wire wheels coordinate so nicely with the pinstripe.
And the red on the outside is a nice transition to the interior,
too. After all, the best roadsters that are open to the world have
a fully coordinated package inside and out. And while the red gives
this hot rod an aggressive streak, the supple feeling of the
well-bolstered bench and the matching door panels make this a great
place to spend some time. You get great classic elements like the
floor shifter for the three-speed and the thin and grippy steering
wheel. But as you look at the custom pinstriped dash, you'll see it
has been upgraded to a full gauge package with SW readouts that
includes a large tach.
When you park this one at car shows, we know you'll love lifting
both side of the hood. Not only does it give the terrific butterfly
effect, but also you can put this flathead V8 on full display. It
has the lighter aluminum heads, tall Stromberg carb, and large oil
bath air cleaner that makes this a true classic. And while that's
all part of the vintage charm, don't forget to spot handy upgrades
like the 12-volt electric system any hydraulic brakes.
As you look over every inch of this roadster/pickup, you can tell
there was a ton spent making sure this rare Ford gets the attention
it deserves. So if you love being the most unique one in any car
crowd, don't let this one slip away. Call today!!!
