Vehicle Description
Your first impression of this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 is a faithful and
good-looking classic with maybe some extra gloss in the paint. But
as you dig a little deeper, this iconic pickup has actually been
upgraded to leave you wanting for nothing. So with the nice V8
power, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, custom A/C
interior, and much more, this is the cool classic pickup that
delivers it all.
This Chevy is all about making you do a double-take. After all,
they had red back in '54, but the moment the sunshine hits this
one, it has the kind of radiance that can only come from a solid
investment and modern clearcoat. It does a terrific job of showing
off all the classic curves, and you can tell they made sure the
sheet metal was looking great. Even the real wood in the truck bed
is bright and glossy. And while this has a true vintage look, there
are a few subtle tricks to make this a sleeker custom. Expertly
deleting the badging in front, adding accustom rear roll pan, and
those 15-inch Rally-style wheels give this a cool cruising attitude
without being too boisterous.
The interior shows more of the great care that went into the build.
The exterior red continues, and now it's joined by a deep black.
These two colors are expertly interwoven on the seats and custom
door panels, and so you know you're going to get plenty of
complements on this. But more than just impressing others, this is
all about being a great all-around classic. A vintage style
steering wheel with a smaller diameter lets you take better
advantage of the power steering, the three-speed automatic
transmission has a smooth operation, and ice-cold air conditioning
show you that this one wants to keep you comfortable.
Under the hood is a terrific presentation. The color-matched engine
bay funnels your attention to plenty of shine on the air topper,
valve covers, upgraded pulleys, and more. As you check out the full
package, you're going to notice the right supporting pieces, like
fresh hoses, tight belts, and an electric fan. Plus, we all know
small block power is a nice improvement over the inline-sixes that
came in these 3100-series trucks. This 350 cubic-inch V8 inhales
deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet
sound out of the dual exhaust. And as you look at the undercarriage
photos, you'll see more upgrades like the Mustang II-style
independent front end, rear sway bar, and the confidence of
four-wheel disc brakes.
Oh yes, this is the great-looking classic that's easy to enjoy on
the open road. So that makes it ideal to show off everywhere. Don't
miss this thoughtful and fun build, call today!
