(Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website
other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our
many photographs of this car are not presented due to website
limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go
to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) The car is highly
original condition with just one repaint in the original color
combination. Metropolitans are always exciting cars to see despite
their small size. American manufacturer styling cues, with a
compact city car frame, and bright color combinations give these
cars a unique look. This car has a big presence once it is noticed
in our showroom. Finished in a truly cool color scheme that is
evocative of the time period, this car is sure to remind you of
Beehive hairstyles, space age appliances, and Elvis' swinging hips.
The body is in very good condition considering it is original. The
chrome trim is all present and shows well, and the chrome bumpers
polish up nicely. Inside this little car, the tidy interior is very
simple. Dashboard switches are all present, door panels are in
great condition, and the bench seat is finished in black vinyl, and
black and white upholstery. The engine is a numbers matching 1500cc
Inline-4 with a 3 speed manual transmission. The engine and
transmission components are highly original and the engine bay is
tidy. Nash Metropolitans that are highly original are difficult to
find in today's market. This is a special car from a special
collection, that was kept in very good condition by a local
Nash/American Motors enthusiast. We are excited to be able to offer
this Metropolitan for sale! Be sure to check out all the photos and
video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested
