The result was a super-unique, Barrett-Jackson quality rendition of an all time classic and iconic piece of history. It is represented to originally be a 21 window German bus with additional windows seamlessly added during restoration upgrades. The outside boasts 'Safari' front windows, custom luggage roof rack, a remarkable mirror finish paint job, and a panoramic sunroof.
The interior has been completely overhauled and re-designed like the inside of a luxury touring camper, featuring an abundance of cabinetry, modern audio equipment, fold out lunch table, mini-fridge, and an electronically controlled pop-up television to top it all off! The engine is a modified 1835cc w/ Powerhaus finned alloy sump, twin Weber carbs & custom fabricated exhaust system. The drivetrain features a rebuilt transaxle, all new brakes & brake lines, and new suspension and 4-Speed manual transmission.
