Vehicle Description
Slick, speedy, and an overall thoughtful build, this 1923 Ford
Model T Speedster won't surprise you with its features like its
powerful V8 or great polished accessories. Instead, it's shocking
that you get all of this and much more for such an obtainable
price.
The cool streamlined nose marks the "Track T" speedster look that
came from the dirt track racers. But as you can see from the clean
and detailed build, it looks like this one has never seen even
anything but blacktop. Where a bright yellow paintjob would be the
main attraction on most cars, the addition of the burgundy up front
with a hint of metallic draws extra attention to the special
streamlined nose to really maximize the distinction. Plus, the
brightwork looks great on the special grille, surrounding the
headlights, on the suspension components, and on the two-piece
wheel covers.
Inside, this utilizes more of the cool competition look to showcase
a sporty style. You see it in elements like the high back seats and
the well-integrated roll bar. The dash has a cool metal look, and
it's dominated by a full gauge package and toggle switches. The
Schroeder detachable steering wheel will make people think you just
came from the track, and the B&M ratchet shifter is worthy of
winning the quarter-mile.
The bright air topper peeks out from on top of the hood and
underneath it are all the goodies. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 that
has been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and ceramic coated headers that add power while
contributing to the rumble of the glasspack-style dual exhaust.
There's also a Wilwood master cylinder for the front disc brakes.
As you look at the undercarriage photos, it shows how the cool
streamlined body contains nice features like the TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission, strong Ford 9-inch rear, and four-link rear
w/coilovers.
The is the slick T-based Speedster that has power, distinction, and
