Vehicle Description

This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was originally built in St. Louis with factory Tuxedo Black Sateen Silver inlay paint. It is powered by its original, matching-numbers 283/270hp engine with dual carburetor, mated its factory 4-speed manual transmission. This car was owned by the same person for over 50 years and was always garage kept in a climate-controlled environment. Over the past 10 years it has undergone a complete ground-up restoration. The undercarriage was sealed and painted in gloss black paint to hold up against the elements. The frame was taken down to bare metal and powder coated and painted gloss black. No expense was spared in the restoration. The car has been completely rebuilt to factory standards using factory GM parts. The engine was rebuilt six years ago to factory specifications. The transmission was rebuilt two years ago and both carburetors have been rebuilt and tuned, as well as the original generator. Every piece of chrome was redone to show-quality. The car came with a black convertible top from the factory but was recently changed to white.
