Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1973 Triumph TR6 which is in beautiful overall condition and comes with a Matching Hardtop and working Overdrive. This TR6 has low actual miles of 87,083. Overdrive and Hardtop are the two most desired features on a TR6 and this one has both, plus its Red. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years and looks mostly stock in appearance and is ready for show or go. This TR6 features a beautiful paint job in Red, a very nice interior in Factory Black, Overdrive 4 speed manual transmission, and a matching hardtop. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Red exterior over Black interior. This is the factory color combination as verified on the commission plate pictured above. The low actual miles of 87,083 are branded on the Ohio title pictured above as "Actual."
Exterior
The Red exterior is in great overall condition. This TR6 was treated to a professional paint job and shows well in Red paint. The paint is in super nice condition and has a nice shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are terrific on this car. There is no bubbling paint or cracked paint and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. The underside is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion. Both bumpers are in good condition and appear to have not been restored. The tires are like new and have nearly full tread left and are sized 185/65/15 and the Panasport wheels are newer and in great condition.
The convertible top is in good condition and works as it should and appears to be original with the diamond pattern on the inside of top. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire and correct style trunk carpet and cardboard surround.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in very good condition. The seat covers are in excellent overall condition and were recently replaced and have no major wear and no seam splits or rips. These seat covers are soft and the seats are very comfortable. The carpet was recently replaced and is in excellent condition with no major wear or holes. The door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is in great condition and looks very nice in the car. The stereo has been upgraded to a more modern style Pioneer stereo. The gauges work and appear to keep accurate readings. The horn, wipers, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in good mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. This TR6 is a true pleasure to drive especially with the top down rowing through the gears. Its a true bonus and luxury to have working Overdrive in this TR6. It really keeps the RPM's lower while cruising around especially during highway driving or long hauls. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. This TR6 has been very well maintained over the years and runs and drives well. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Tires were recently installed and a new gas tank was installed. The stock style exhaust system sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. A new alternator was just added. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
