1939 International Harvester D2 Pickup Truck - Frame Off
Restoration - 213ci 6 Cylinder Engine - 3 Speed Manual Gearbox -
Heater - Two Tone Paint - Side Mounted Spare Tire - 7.5 Foot Bed
We're excited to offer this classic truck for sale, which was
carefully restored to its original condition. Owned by a classic
car enthusiast who had an interest in a variety of vehicles, this
truck was always very well cared for. Sleek, almost car like lines
on the exterior of this truck, paired with two-tone paint give this
truck a clean attractive look. Fit and finish on the body of this
truck is excellent - body lines are dialed in just right and the
paint is in great condition. There is no evidence of rust, or
corrosion on the body or bed of this truck. A few options to note
on the exterior of the truck are the 7.5 foot bed, and the side
mounted spare tire. Taking a look at the interior of the truck, we
see a crisp, clean, and simple passenger compartment. Much of the
interior looks to be original including pedals, shifter, emergency
brake, and steering wheel. All the painted surfaces are finished
nicely, the seat has been properly restored, the headliner is in
excellent condition, all glass is in great condition, and the gauge
cluster is in excellent condition. Under the hood of the truck, a
flathead 213ci Inline-6 is nestled in a very clean engine bay. The
engine is in good mechanical condition with most components beneath
the hood in great condition. A 3-Speed manual gearbox handles gear
selection. The frame and the underside of the truck is very clean,
and with the clean look it is obvious that the body was taken off
the truck when the truck was restored. Not many of the
International trucks were made, in comparison to the trucks the
Big-3 were pumping out of their plants. Being limited in number
when new 80 years ago, it's not very often that you see a late
'30's International truck to begin with. It's even more rare to see
a truck like this one in such beautiful condition. This
International is the product of a detailed restoration, and an
enthusiast owner who always made sure this truck was garage kept.
