1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible
Why This Vehicle is Special
When you can find a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro with the RS/SS Hide-Away
front headlights, with every nut and bolt either restored or
replaced, with improvements over the factory installed parts, with
what we believe is the factory born with 396 cubic inch drivetrain,
in a gorgeous blue convertible? Well we have one here at Skyway

Mechanical
One look in the great detailed blue engine compartment and you will
see the 396 cubic inch big block engine all decked out with
polished aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, stainless steel
tube headers, performance carb and fuel lines, serpentine belt
system, performance electronics and plug wires, black painted
intake and engine block, oversized aluminum radiator and cooling
system, air conditioning, power steering and brakes and more.
All of this power is managed by a stout manual transmission before
being sent to the SS-correct 12-bolt rear end with polished rear
cover. It also has been built to handle the power with performance
suspension components like sway bars, traction bars, disc brakes,
tubular control arms and coil over shocks front and rear, disc
brakes, dual exhaust, and all riding on custom chrome mag wheels
and extreme performance radial tires.
Interior
The great custom bucket seat interior is a subtle combination of
factory stock and custom finishes. All of the interior lights,
knobs, handles, visors, etc. work as they should. It has Classic
Instrument gauges, chrome and billit steering wheel, custom new
stitched seats and door panels, front custom dash inset, and custom
stereo radio system.
Exterior
The paint is superb shade of blue as seen in the pictures. The body
is perfect as are the chrome, trim, correct hood vents, and D80
full-width rear spoiler. The convertible top was replaced as was
the carpet and the hallmark of the RS package, the blacked-out
grille that hides the headlights behind vacuum activated doors.
Conclusion
Look through all the detailed pictures on this 1968 Chevrolet
