Vehicle Description
It doesn't look like anything else on the road and there aren't
many vehicles that can hold a candle to the driving experience it
offers. This 1972 Chevrolet Blazer Supercharged is an exceptional,
modded vintage SUV. It's been thoroughly restored both inside and
out and wears an array of well-planned modifications that give it
both an awesomely unique presence and outstanding power.
Dressed in a magnetic shade of red, this Blazer is a vehicle that
will command attention wherever it goes. The paint itself is in
outstanding condition, with a nice, uniform shine and no noticeable
flaws, and as you come in for a closer look you'll notice some of
the great modifications that equip this stylish Blazer with a one
of a kind appearance. Up front, the chrome grille and headlight
casings have been brushed - the striking effect that's resulted
will prompt you to wonder why more classics don't receive the same
treatment. The lowered stance strikes a great balance, leaving just
the right amount of aftermarket impact while not dropping things so
far as to compromise this Chevy's ability to handle everyday
driving conditions or obscure its showstopping wheels. With the
warm weather now upon us, the chance to get behind the wheel of
this amazing ride in its open-air configuration is pretty darned
compelling, but when the seasons change, the included color matched
hardtop fits like a glove, sealing nicely to keep the elements out.
The added high intensity HID headlights illuminate the path
ahead.
You'll rarely come across a modded interior showing the impressive
level of detail that this one does. Climb in and the first thing
you're likely to notice is just how well every component blends in
with the whole. The plushly padded gray bucket seats offer 6-way
power adjustability and wear red accents tying in perfectly with
the steel of the doors and dash area, and the billet steering wheel
sitting on its tilt column carries a matching color scheme that's
effectively amplified by the gray dash pad running across the top.
Even the rear storage area and liftgate make up an eye-catching
part of the overall effect. From front to back, everything inside
this cabin just looks like it's meant to be there. A custom center
console offers a pair of cupholders and usable interior storage
space and the chrome instrument panel harbors an assortment of
clear, functional gauges. At the center of the dash is a Pioneer
AM/FM/CD stereo with an auxiliary port to accommodate your iPod or
Bluetooth device, so the audio options on board here are
substantial.
There's no letup to the awesomeness as you lift the scooped hood,
under which sits a 350 cubic inch V8 whose power is drastically
amplified by the added Weiand Supercharger and 4-barrel Holley
double pumper carb and whose looks are elevated to a seldom seen
level via the assortment of chrome components it wears. The sheer
visual impact of all these upgrades and braided hoses contrasted by
the red inner fenders strikes you right away. The potent powerplant
teams with a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic TH400 transmission
and sounds a commanding tone out of its chambered mufflers. Smooth,
precise power steering makes navigation easy, power front disc
brakes provide fade resistant stopping ability, while a rear
multi-link suspension affords a refined ride as this singular Chevy
takes to the asphalt on its set of 20" American Racing Torq Thrust
wheels.
The sheer aesthetic appeal and outstanding details this 1972
Chevrolet Blazer Supercharged carries make it an absolute standout.
