Vehicle Description
This 1990 Corvette ZR1 has 40,000 actual miles (mileage not
indicated on registration). The ZR1 performance package alone added
$27,056 to the standard Corvette price. It's powered by a 5.7-liter
MPFI DOHC 32-valve V8 engine producing 375hp. The engine is
designed by Lotus and manufactured by Mercury Marine. The engine is
mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The ZR1 was a totally
different car from the regular 'Vette; the body was 4" wider at the
rear to accommodate the much larger tires, the taillights were
square as opposed to round, and the side panels were specific to
the ZR1. This car came with a performance and handling package and
a removable center roof section. It also features a Corsa exhaust
system, and Wilwood disc brakes with ZR1-labeled calipers. The
previous owner added the custom white wheels, changed the standard
red interior to white to match the wheels and added the large ZR1
decals to make this car stand out more. The decals are vinyl and
can be easily removed with heat. It also comes with the original
ZR1 Pizza Box with all the brochures and pamphlets from the factory
as well as a custom car cover. CARFAX shows General Motors
manufacturer safety recalls issued on 10/01/1991: Safety belt
retractors - right side; and 10/01/1991: Safety belt retractors -
left side; and mileage inconsistency on 02/28/2018.
