Vehicle Description
This is a slick sleeper custom coupe. After all, if you don't pick
up on the subtle performance cues of 1964 Chevrolet Impala
Restomod, then you might just see a cool hardtop. But beneath the
skin lies the performance fuel-injected V8 heart and the right
upgrades to support it.
Impala coupes are highly collectable because the crisp body lines
and the broad six taillight arrangement are both icons of the 60s.
And since these were the top trim of the era, it has all the best
brightwork. This includes the wraparound chrome bumpers, wide
grille, and full-length C-channel side trim. But the best piece of
flair goes around the roof. It draws attention to the awesome
pillarless hardtop that's another icon of the era. Plus, a terrific
respray of the original Ember Red really makes this a standout
coupe. So you know you're already going to love this one before you
see the subtle upgrades, like the LS badging and the modern alloys
disguised as classic Rally wheels - these hint at the beast
within.
Inside, the vintage sleeper feeling continues. The seats have a
terrific factory look with the classic pattern inserts. You even
have the premium button-top presentation on the seats that continue
onto the doors. There's plenty of room for family and friends in
this large coupe, but you'll always have the best seat in the
house. You get the classic thin and grippy factory steering wheel,
and the dash has a vintage look, right down to the AM radio that's
still on display. But then you put the key in and see the upgraded
full gauge package glowing red. It's a nice indication of more
upgrades that come when you twist the key.
The engine bay looks terrific with the smooth black inner fenders
and firewall. It funnels your attention to the unmistakable bold
red upgrade in the middle. This is a 5.3-liter fuel-injected LS V8.
This modern motor breathes in deeply with a FiTech EFI system,
intake, and throttle body. Plus, it exhales from shorty headers
that add power while contributing to the rumble of the side-exit
dual exhaust. The engine upgrade also comes with the right
supporting components, like serpentine belts and a large aluminum
radiator. This is the kind of total package that's great for power
driving as well as comfortable cruising. That's why you also have a
460LE four-speed automatic transmission that's stout enough to
handle the performance and smooth enough for overdrive cruising.
Plus, there's power steering, modern tires, and drilled & slotted
front disc brakes for a great all-around driving experience.
This is a very fresh build that carefully crafts a sleeper around a
terrific powerplant. It's the kind of Impala we all want, but
there's only one up for grabs. So don't miss out, call today!
