This 1966 Jaguar XKE is a Series I fixed-head coupe finished in
Opalescent Silver Blue over dark blue leather and powered by a 4.2L
twin-cam inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The
car was purchased new by the current owner in October 1966 at Ralph
L. Bolen Oldsmobile in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is said to have
been driven regularly before being put into storage in 1992. It was
removed from storage and recommissioned in November 2018 by the
seller, who is representing the car for the owner. Work included an
overhaul of the carburetors, fuel system cleaning, a brake system
refresh, and the replacement of the exhaust system, clutch
hydraulics, coolant lines, spark plugs, and points. New knock-off
wire wheels and tires were also installed. This E-Type is now being
offered with the original maintenance booklet, registration tag,
tool kit, wheels, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean
