Vehicle Description
This single owner 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet is finished
in Black over Black partial leather and was purchased by the only
owner new in Oregon. It is powered by a 3.6L flat-six paired with a
G50 5-speed manual transaxle. Factory options include colored crest
wheel caps, limited slip differential, and automatic speed control.
Servicing completed since the owner's purchase included clutch kit,
brakes, new drive belts, replacing various seals, and more as
detailed in the listing. Now showing 107,168 miles, this 964
Carrera 2 is offered with a clean Carfax, and a clear title.
The black finish shows very well and can be viewed from several
angles with the black soft top up and down. No accidents or damage
are reported on the Carfax.
The convertible soft top is in great condition and free of rips and
tears. However, there's been a small 3 inch repair on the passenger
side detailed in the galley. The rear window is clear of fog and is
also free of any tears or major scratches.
As part of the recent servicing, this 964 received new windshield,
a factory windshield seal, wiper blades, front hood and rear
decklid support struts, brake pads, power steering fluid flushes,
and an oil change. Additionally, new Michelin Pilot Sport tires
were mounted on the factory 17 D90 wheels. Each corner is shown in
the gallery, with only one small curb mark noted on one of the
alloys. A 4-wheel alignment was also performed.
This particular 964 is optioned with partial-leather, which covers
the front of the seats, center console, and dashboard. The factory
Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 Cassette-radio remains installed but not
working. The mechanical odometer shows just under 107k miles.
Out back, the air-cooled 3.6L flat-six sends power to the rear
wheels only through a G50 5-speed manual transaxle. This 964 was
factory optioned with a very desirable Limited Slip Differential.
Recent mechanical servicing included a new engine air filter,
distributor cap/rotor, all-new drive belts, timing chain cover
mounting screw seals, and the right-side timing chain tensioner
cover. Oil leaks coming from the external oil cooler and thermostat
areas were also addressed.
The accident-free Carfax reports linear odometer progression
throughout the years, plus a number of service history records.
