This 1995 Pontiac Firehawk offers some exclusivity and extra
performance features to the already capable and popular Firebird
Formula. SLP (Street Legal Performance!) Engineering took an
already great Pontiac and kicked it up a few notches. The 350 cubic
inch V8 is highly respected in its own right, but SLP added a
special induction package to bring the horsepower rating up to a
solid 315. The hood features twin scoops to funnel cool air
directly to the intake. The original, numbers matching engine in
this example was refreshed in 2017. It has a fresh tune-up with new
plugs, MSD cap and rotor, and wires. Behind the motor is a 6-speed
manual transmission. Ed Hamburger and his SLP crew installed a
Hurst shifter for quick, precise, short throws. SLP also upgraded
the suspension from Formula specs to increase the handling limits.

BFGoodrich G-force radials definitely contribute in the g-force
department. It's a pretty 'Bird with a rare dark purple metallic
paint scheme and unique Firehawk graphics. The body style is the
popular t-top configuration. This car is also loaded with

power windows and locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, and air
