Vehicle Description
This 1940 Cadillac Fleetwood Imperial Limousine is powered by a
346ci 8-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission.
The same year and model as the vehicle used in "The Godfather," and
similar to a model owned by Howard Hughes, this Fleetwood Imperial
was honored as the First Premier Winner by the Classic Car Club of
America, and the Preservation Class Winner at St. Michaels Concours
d'Elegance. It is one of 355 Fleetwood limousines and one of 168
Imperial limousines produced. This survivor sports dual
fender-mounted spares and retains its original interior, which
features a radio, divider window, inlaid hardwood trim, two clocks
and an intercom system.
