MUSTANG 1966 CONVERTIBLE, finished in just beautiful factory original Silver Blue color, now presented in a really top Driven Show condition, looks great with the proper side chrome markers and the lower stainless rocker moldings, just a really terrific straight body and solid chassis, very top metal fit along with the fender panels that are original, hard to find like this, the excellent quality underchassis is also in solid factory condition, this now has a stock appearance as an original ‘C’ code build now with the 225 horsepower ‘A’ Code specs as it is fitted with a Ford 4v intake and a 4v Holley carburetor, also with the proper ‘A’ code GT dual exhaust system, rebuilt with dated C6 casting and very strong 289cid with just excellent very strong compression, fresh full professional tune, C-4 automatic transmission shifts as it should, correct shifter, this is equipped with Ford power steering, the braking system is just uprated by Fraser Dante to the GT front disc brake system, brand new GT master cylinder, the rear drum brakes are just checked, this ’66 with the 289cid has the engine bay finished with very high show detailing, set for MCA driven show standards, all fluids are fresh, coolant, fresh high-tech oil and filter, the spark plugs and plug wires are new, set up from before for show use and then static in a collection for a while, now again for new Mustang shows and mountain driving, see the rare Door Data Tag and the inner fender Buck tag, every body panel is original, has the stamped #s on the lower rockers and trunk drip rails, the rear lower quarters that have the drip rail top stampings have had some lower replacement panels, so very solid and hard to find so good like this, also a great underchassis, correct new styled steel wheels, expensive radial whitewalls, has the Ford Mustang Owner’s Manual that is stamped “third printing April 1966”… see great engine bay presentation with even all the bolts are show ready with the side fenders and the radiator support and hood closing bracket is detailed with new bolts, really great attention to the mechanicals by the professional staff at Fraser Dante who are unique in this business today, completed in order to enjoy driving this beauty to shows, dinner or a mountain run, has great presence, see www.fraserdante.com for further information and full inventory
