models make for highly capable and comfortable highway cruisers and
here at MotoeXotica Classic Cars, we are pleased to present this
2004 Porsche 911 C4S Cabriolet with only 11,672 miles. Mr. Guyton
purchased the car in 2012 with only 10,332 miles only 1,3xx miles
placed on the car in 7 years. Mr. Guyton had Parktown Porsche/Audi
perform the 10,000 mile service in June 2012 including a water pump
at the cost of $2,718.00. The car was obviously used sparingly and
is in pristine condition throughout. Always garaged and we have
service receipts in hand. Original list price on this Porsche
Carrera C4S was $100,420.00. It basically has all the features of
the turbo model with a wide body without the turbo. Last oil change
was at 11,628 miles. Built in February 2004 at Porsche's Stuttgart,
Germany factory, this Porsche came with the following additional
equipment - heated front seats, Bose high-end sound package, black
full leather seating surfaces, black floor mats, self-dim mirrors
and rain sensors, Xenon headlamps and aluminum/leather shift lever
and emergency brake handle. Dressed in Arctic Silver Metallic, the
car's paint and trim are in overall excellent order, with possibly
a very minor blemish visible only at less than a foot away. The
contrasting black canvas, power-folding top is in similar shape.
The car's bodywork is predictably straight and solid, its engine
bay is extremely tidy, as is the cargo area up front. The car has
dual front airbags and its body-colored bumpers look great. At 75
mph, the car's rear spoiler rises for reduced rear-end lift at high
speeds. This Porsche rolls on Bridgestone Potenza S-02A radials,
size 225/40ZR18 in front and 295/30ZR19 in back. Each tire is
mounted on a factory, five-spoke aluminum wheels with Porsche
center caps. The wheels and tires are in excellent condition. Under
the small rear bonnet is Porsche's 3.6L, water cooled, 24-valve,
DOHC flat six-cylinder engine. The motor is mated to a Getrag
G96/00 six-speed manual transmission. Driver convenience features
include automatic climate control, power assisted rack-and-pinion
steering, power four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock, cruise
control, power windows, power sideview mirrors, power locks, power
and heated front seats and power-folding canvas top. Inside, the
car's black interior is in overall excellent shape. The black front
buckets, which are also heated, look great, as do the rear
demi-buckets. The matching carpeting is in similar condition. The
three-spoke steering looks ready for the road. The inner door
panels and instrument panel are all in excellent order, as is the
center console, shifter and handbrake. Rounding out the interior is
a factory AM/FM stereo with CD player and Bose High-end Sound
Package. The C4S, as it is called among the enthusiasts, shares the
wide-body look of the Turbo as well as the brakes and suspension.
Competition to this Porsche in 2004 included Acura's NSX Targa,
BMW's M3 Cabrio, Cadillac's XLR Convertible, Chevrolet's Corvette
Convertible, Nissan's 350Z Convertible and Panoz's Esperante GT
Convertible. Documentation includes original owner's manual,
original maintenance book with log, original owner's manual for the
stereo, original warranty and customer information and 2004 Porsche
brochure, copy of clean CARFAX report plus a folder of assorted
receipts, cars and other information. The car has three maintenance
notes; the first at 16 miles on March 4, 2004; the next at 3,100
miles on February 25, 2005; and the final logged at 5,577 miles on
May 27, 2006. If you're in the market for a new-to-you Porsche, if
you collect German cars or if you want a comfortable cruiser that
