For Sale: 1930 Ford Model A in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

The 1930 Ford Model A was the next to last year of U.S. production in a successful five-year run. Like many Fords of the era, the Model A became a favorite of hot-rodders everywhere.

This 1930 Ford is a street rod that really embodies that classic 1990s style, with plenty of modern amenities integrated into the classic design. In true street rod fashion, this Ford is a real Model A steel body with fiberglass running boards that has been customized and sits on a TCI chassis. The exterior is finished in a vibrant yellow that really stands out in a crowd! Coupled with purple flames and "Mr. Horsepower" painted on the side, this car will bring you right back in time. The paint is in good condition for the age, and the vinyl roof is free of damage. The thick wood running boards are the perfect accent, and add to the classic style.

The engine bay is exposed on the sides, which not only completes the street rod look, but also helps keep the Chevrolet 327 V8 cool. The engine is snugly positioned in the car, and while it is a tight fit, most things are easily accessible, especially if the top hood panel were removed. It runs great, sounds like a street rod, and really moves this little Ford down the road! The GM TH350 automatic transmission makes cruising a breeze, and is the perfect mate to the 327. Anyone into rods will tell you that driving a fast car is one thing, but driving a fast street rod is something else all on its own. Rack and pinion power steering makes for exceptional steering response, while dual exhaust gives this car the hot rod rumble it ought to have.

The interior is fully custom, set up with switches above the windshield in a race-car style array. Not quite a resto-mod, this Model A does have a few modern conveniences including air condition and power windows. Even the rear window goes up and down at the touch of a button! The seats are custom leather and there's even a hidden battery cut off switch in the passenger compartment. While this is an older build, the interior has held up well and everything is in good condition. This is your weekend toy, ready to go!

If you're looking for a unique, fun, and fast weekend fun vehicle, this Model A just might be for you. This car was built to be enjoyed, and that's exactly what it has been used for. All it needs now is a new home!
