sporting Le Mans blue stipes has only been driven 1,144 miles since
new! The CSX4000 series Cobra was Shelby's answer to the growing
wave of Cobra replicas, many of them severely deficient in both
quality and performance. Built in Shelby Automobiles' shop in Las
Vegas, the CSX4000 series Cobras are everything the original 427s
were and more. A CSX number and a Manufacturer's Statement of
Origin from Shelby American Inc. documents each car's authenticity.
Several well considered improvements were made in specifying the
CSX4000 series, including a stronger steel frame with thicker
walls, higher quality alloys in many components and better cooling
and heat shielding for improved drivability and interior comfort.
Under the hood of this CSX4231 an all aluminum version of the
original 427ci V8. Mated to this Big Block is a Toploader 4 Speed
Manual Transmission. This cobra also features Weber electronic fuel
injection made to look as close to the original carburetors as
possible, along with a MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD coil, and
tube Headers with Side Exhaust. Take a look inside to see the
pristine interior featuring bucket seats with black leather
upholstery, Shelby gauges, 4 point harnesses, a chrome roll bar,
along with a polished aluminum steering wheel wrapped with
beautiful wood! The underside of this Shelby is just as clean as
