1963 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster rotisserie restored at a
concours
level. Documented nut-and-bolt restoration performed to Daimler
Heritage Trust Report specifications with a huge folder of
receipts. This 1963 E-Type Series 1 roadster presented in the rare
and beautiful combination of white with a red leather interior,
black soft top, covered headlights, Horizontal marker lights above
spear-like wraparound bumpers and black wall tires on re
chromed wire knock-off wheels. Fitted with Jaguar's trademark
wood-rimmed steering wheel, Smiths gauges and an AM/FM radio, the
red interior's aluminum dash, console trim, toggle switches and
open glovebox set it apart from later models. This wonderful Series
1 roadster has been driven just 1,000 miles since its restoration,
has been stored in a climate-controlled setting and comes with a
Daimler Heritage Trust Report.

aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, the E-Type's sensuously flowing lines
and a subtlety and beauty wooed buyers from around the world. The
E-Type follows the basic construction of combining a monocoque
center section with square-tube steel front and rear subframes and
uses an elegantly designed modular independent rear suspension
layout with inboard disc brakes and lower wishbones connecting to
cast aluminum hub carriers. It is sprung with dual telescoping
shocks inside coil springs mounted between the lower wish bone and
the rear suspension crossmember.
