Vehicle Description
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is finished in the iconic color
combination of Tuxedo Black with a black convertible top and red
boot cover and completes its outward presentation with dual
antennas and chrome and gold-anodized Bel Air trim. The tri-color
interior is appointed in black with red and silver using the
correct materials and pattern arrangement. This car is heavily
optioned with power steering, a split-bench seat, Wonderbar radio,
tinted windows and a power-operated convertible top. The drivetrain
has been upgraded with a larger-displacement 350/290 hp Chevrolet
engine that replaces the original 283 ci powerplant. Likewise, the
automatic transmission is a more modern GM 700 R4 - a 4-speed
automatic overdrive unit that replaces the usual 2-speed Powerglide
transmission. The added performance, both in terms of torque and
horsepower, make this Bel Air ad far more user-friendly car to
drive, and the revised ratios from the 4-speed automatic enable
both faster acceleration and an enhanced cruising speed. This
beauty is riding on new 18 inch chrome American Racing wheels and
performance tires for new age looks but the original wheels and
hubcaps are available in exchange or can be purchased at extra
cost.
This gorgeous Bel Air convertible is a great car to enjoy on a
cruise night with your friends and family.
