For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Combining the best of yesterday with the best of today, this impressive Camaro is tailored to the muscle car fan who wants the absolute best. And if you're ready to feel the Summer breeze behind the wheel of a storied Detroit legend, it's a chance to turn your long-time dreams into prime time reality!

A solid North Carolina Super Sport that's been pampered in climate-controlled storage for 30 of its 50 years, this slick drop-top has benefitted from a detailed, ground-up restoration. That restoration, clean and well-executed, wraps smooth Burgundy paint in a taut White top and Dover White Rally Stripes. And today, this Chevy rolls as a solid and straightforward classic that continues to age exceptionally well. At the front of the car, a stainless-trimmed grille hangs a bright "SS" emblem above a polished bumper, clear parking lamps and a traditional D80 chin spoiler. Above that grille, a ZL-2 Cowl Induction Hood floats between a bright Camaro header emblem and fresh glass that's seated behind straight trim, satin wipers and factory mirrors. At the sides of that glass, stylish wheel lips and dent-free rocker spears frame intricate fender emblems, familiar door handles and ornate quarter louvers. And at the back of the car, a guarded bumper protects a clean "SS" emblem and a tall D80 deck spoiler.

Hoist this Chevy's peaked hood and you'll find 350 cubic inches of polished and painted small block that's wedged inside a clean, highly detailed frame. At the top of that mill, a polished and "CHEVROLET" branded air cleaner surfs a proven Holley carburetor that's traced in polished and braided fuel lines. Under that carb, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake borders polished, "CHEVROLET" branded valve covers that are finished with a polished breather. At the back of those covers, a reliable HEI distributor sequences fire through loomed Taylor plug wires. Beneath those wires, long headers make quick work of charred dinosaurs. In front of those tubes, pliable V-belts spin a chrome alternator opposite chrome-trimmed power steering. And details like polished fender braces and a polished thermostat housing reflect a Satin Black engine bay.

That sharp focus on ability carries right over, or should we say under, to this Chevy's fully sorted chassis. Behind the spry engine, a tough Muncie 4-speed spins a familiar GM 12-bolt. That drivetrain rides a fully sorted suspension that's led by factory-style power steering. Stops come courtesy of power-assisted discs and drums. Charred fossils float through a large-diameter exhaust system that's threaded into throaty Flowmaster mufflers. And power meets the pavement through attractive Rally Wheels, which spin 235/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As.

Open this F1's doors and you'll find a stylish White Houndstooth interior that's been lovingly restored. At the center of the car, a vinyl-trimmed bench complements Deluxe bucket seats. In front of those seats, a wood-trimmed dash founds rebuilt telemetry above a modern, direct-fit radio. At the base of that dash, monochromatic mats surf monochromatic carpet, which frames a wood-trimmed console that's finished with a short Hurst shifter and 4-pack accessory gauges. Opposite that console, Deluxe side panels frame traditional door hardware. And in front of the driver, a reproduction Rally Wheel laps a tilting steering column.

A tough-looking muscle car that wraps a hot drivetrain in choice paint and timeless trim? What more could you ask for? Call, click or visit https://www.RKMotors.com for more information on this awesome Camaro!
