GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL
Roadster for purchase. At the end of the run of the legendary R107
series, Mercedes sent their most powerful and loaded SL yet to the
United States. The engine improved in speed, torque, and
horsepower. The car also received a new rear suspension and a
limited-slip differential to better handle the added torque and
power. Mercedes also added anti-lock brakes, leather upholstery,
and an alarm system. Today, many enthusiasts gravitate towards the
560SL as it retains some of the original lines of the pagoda SL's
while carrying with it all of the R107's advances.
The 1988 Mercedes 560SL offered here was sold new at Autorama
Mercedes-Benz of Memphis on December 18 1987 and delivered to its
new owner in 623 Light Ivory over Palomino Leather interior. It is
very apparent that this car has been extremely well cared for
throughout its ownership history. It feature chrome wheel well
accents, newer tires, some service history, perfect Carfax, near
perfect dash, clean engine compartment, trunk compartment and
underside. Mechanically at just 107000 miles, the car is fantastic
delivering the comfort and quality that Mercedes SL class has been
delivering since its inception. The car comes will full books
