Debuting in 2000, the second generation Lexus SC430 was conceived
as an upmarket 2+2 convertible to compete with the best of Mercedes
and BMW. The car featured a powerful 4.3L V8 that produced 288hp
and and was mated to a smooth shifting 5-speed automatic
transmission. Featuring a retractable power hardtop, the design was
very distinctive. The Lexus design team spent a lot of time in C�te
d'Azur, Africa and studied the region's architecture, lifestyle and
harbors, claiming the vehicle combined the lines of elegant sailing
yachts. Featuring a luxurious interior and a smooth ride, this is
as nice as a real yacht.
The 2003 Lexus SC430 offered here is finished in Midnight Pine
Pearl over a Brown leather interior that shows exceptionally well.
