1984 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
For the introduction of the new first year version C4 Corvette
Chevrolet went Star Wars on the TV ads proclaiming, "You've never
seen anything like this before, you've never heard anything like
this before", utilizing plenty of smoke, flashy lighting and even
vertical light sabers. Looking back, it now seems very dated, but
at the time it was perfect to get buyers through the showroom
doors.
Out consigner states this car is totally original, unmolested, with
light bronze paint just like the commercials. This car has always
been garaged, never seen snow or salted roads, and remains very
much like new with a mere 39,000 original miles.
Exterior
Unmolested fiberglass in W7722 Light Bronze base and clear coat, we
see straight panels, no cracks no drips no errors. A large curved
glass rear greenhouse deck, hidden headlights, which house extra
bright Wagner head lighting, a flat back end with the round
taillights, and 16" turbine style wheels all around. You've never
seen anything like this before...more smoke!!
Interior
With racing style buckets that grab you when you sit in this car,
bathed in dark brown leather, both seats appear in good condition.
The passenger seat may have a few water stains on the seat portion,
but leather is otherwise unremarkable. An LED dash will make you
feel like you are about to take off in the Millennium Falcon when
one turns the key to ignite this rocket ship. A dizzying array of
buttons and toggles power many convenience options such as dual
power heated side mirrors, power seat, power brakes, power locks,
power windows, cruise control, and a stereo cassette. Consigner
states the "Star Wars Dash" has been fitted with new LED lights.
Brown carpet, fairly clean, floods the floors and rear cargo area.

Drivetrain
The crossfire injected 350ci V8 attached to a 700R4 4-speed
automatic transmission and 3.07 rear has plenty of power to
navigate through any city asteroid field or winding back road.

She's fast enough for you, old man."
Undercarriage
Not unlike the rest of the car like new. Not a mark or drip on it,
it looks like it's never been out in the wet! Noted is the Z51
performance handling package, adjustable Koni shocks, and heavy
duty sway bars...all immaculate..." Great shot kid...don't get
cocky".
This first-year version of the C4 Corvette in unmolested condition
is a great car. Well kept, very clean, well maintained, and all
original, it runs great, and shifts smoothly. Oh, and if you want,
it will burn rubber too. "Don't everybody thank me at once".
