A Refined and Definitive Modern Collectable Ferrari
Like the cars that made Ferrari famous in the 1950s and 1960s, the
575M Maranello is a GT meant for high-speed, cross-country travel,
with the essential Ferrari aura accounted for. Chassis number
129485 offered here, was sold new in September of through Foreign
Cars Italia in Greensboro, North Carolina, desirably equipped with
the highly coveted 6-speed manual transaxle. The 575M was produced
from 2001-2005 with 2,056 unites completed, of which 1,810 were F1
and only 246 manual!
The car's original owner, Mr. H. W. Sherrill optioned this 575M
with power Daytona seats featuring embossed cavallino rampantes and
contrasting stitching, leather headliner, matching leather key fob,
hi-fi stereo system with 6 disc CD changer, Scuderia shields,
silver painted brake calipers and one piece wheels. In 2005 under
the second caretaker, the selling dealer was commissioned to
install the desirable Fiorano handling package - an absolute must
for 575s. Years of regular major services and regular upkeep were
to follow, as recorded by the vehicle's service book and both clean
Carfax and AutoCheck reports. Most recently, in June 2017 the
Maranello received a "30k Mile Major Service" with excellent
performance from all major systems.
129485's striking Grigio Alloy paint is complemented by pristine
wheels and newer (2015) tires. The cabin dark blue upholstery is in
excellent condition, with leather covering just about every surface
(headliner, pillars, visors, dashboard, center console, door
panels). The dash shows NO signs of shrinkage or "sticky buttons",
while all glass and rubber trims are original. The engine
compartment is tidy and very nicely detailed with original decals,
as is the trunk, revealing the CD changer, original compressor (in
sleeve) and unused tool set.
Additionally, the Ferrari is complete with all original owner's
manuals, booklets, warranty cards, info pamphlets and more in
leather folio - along with both keys and remotes, radio code cards
and removal tools. Displaying only 26,500 miles this 575M is the
dialed in and surely ranks among the upper echelon of modern Gran
Tourers. It's beautiful and stately color combination, plus a rare
6-speed manual configuration make this example very desirable to
the discerning Ferrari enthusiast. Now available for Worldwide
