Vehicle Description
International Harvester is a name long associated with ruggedness
be it on the farm or on the road. Here's something quite rare.
There were only 5,389 of these produced. 1980 was the last year of
production for the venerable International Scout, and it was the
only year you could order the factory-installed Nissan inline six
turbo diesel. Coupled with a T19 4-speed manual transmission and
2-speed transfer case, this Scout is a formidable off roader. It's
comfortable inside though, with tan leather bucket seats and
folding arm rests, and a console in between with convenient cup
holders. This one stands tall with its orange exterior, Rallye
graphics, and 2.5-inch lift. The scarcity and thoughtful execution
of this truck has won it several awards.
