Vehicle Description
STK 2461 1983 GMC Double-Decker Bus
This 1983 GMC Double Decker Bus spent many years at Walt Disney
World in Orlando, FL. It was then purchased by the current owner,
brought to North Carolina and fully restored. The exterior was
reshot in classic red with gold trim and is in nice condition. A
huge brass radiator, brass windshield frame and 'antique' brass
headlights accent the front end. The driver's button-tufted front
seat faces a stunning oak dashboard with antique brass gauges and a
period-correct brass steering wheel. Passengers are seated in both
the upper and lower levels. There are upholstered bench seats on
the lower level that face to the center with a stairway in the back
that leads to the second level. The beautiful, wide natural oak
benches on this level face to the outside and a telescopic canopy
covers the entire seating area. A GMC Inline six-cylinder engine
that has been converted to propane and is backed by a 3-speed
automatic transmission powers the custom bus. The chassis is
equipped with power steering and power drum brakes. Classic style
steel wheels (dually-rear) mount Goodyear tires in excellent
condition. This unique vehicle can provide lots of fun and surely
good profit for the right entrepreneur. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
