This sweet iconic 50s car runs with a throaty purr and gets thumbs up and "respect honks" everywhere I go. The odometer turned 100,000 original miles on my watch - I am the 5th owner. If that’s not true, the guy ahead of me was fibbing. Has a 283 rebuilt engine with only 5,000 miles plus a Powerglide rebuilt trans with only 12,000 miles. Extremely fun to drive.
Body has normal, minor wear but no dents and looks great for a 62 year old car. Excellent tires on cool rims. This is no expensive, beautiful, spotless show car that is pampered in a heated garage and taken off a trailer just for shows; it loves the street. I have had it for 6 years and love to use it for local errands while only adding 3500 miles. I have showed it at local car shows and parades - was honored to be selected to lead the Boise Veteran’s Day parade. Its best feature is that it runs and looks good yet is very reasonably priced. A guy with nominal cash can own a cool street classic car whereas most of the cars listed on this site are way too expensive for a normal middle class hobbyist. To make it look extra good, I just had it detailed interior and exterior for this sale. Must sell to keep wife happy- she has been patient but wants her parking spot back for her car. After 6 years of fun, I can let it go to a good owner.
