EXTERIOR: Extremely slick body and paint. Laser straight, gaps are
as good as a new Lexus, paint is like glass. You cant even feel the
stripes. Jambs are just as slick Eleanor kit includes scooped hood,
ground effects with side exhaust, side scoops, dovetail rear and
wheels. Shelby features include the grill with inboard lights and
Shelby taillights. The glass is all tinted and the window frames
are blacked out. All new chrome, trim, weatherstrips. Rich black
cloth power top with 2 piece glass window.
INTERIOR: Meticulously restored. New cushions in the seats so they
upholstery fits tight as a drum. All new side panels, carpet etc.
Dash area is restored like new. New bezels, dash pad, knobs, lenses
etc. Upgraded with a tilt column and a deluxe wheel with aluminum
spokes and wood rim. Has a retro stereo system with kick panel
speakers. Has Cobra floormats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has a strong running, completely rebuilt 302.
Edelbrock carb with electric choke on an aluminum intake. Modern
power steering system. New power brake system. Upgraded aluminum
radiator with twin electric fans and steel hoses. New heat and air
conditioning system. Everything is detailed meticulously. Motor is
painted same color as car. Engine bay is gloss black. The jambs are
as slick as the out side, the stripes even continue into the cowl.
Stainless hardware was used. Cobra finned valve covers and air
cleaner are the cherry on top.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is boxed and upholstered. Has upholstered
inserts under the lid. Paint is like glass, new weatherstrips.
Battery is relocated to the trunk behind a panel.
UNDERSIDE: This is where it gets really good. Mustang's are a
unibody, meaning there is no frame. The floor is the structure.
This car has a custom chassis built by Schwartz Performance. The
motor, trans, rear, suspension mount to the chassis, the body is
set on top. So it's a full boxed frame with plenty of tubular
supports. Up front it has rack and pinion steering, high tech
suspension with coil over adjustable gas shocks. In back also has
high tech suspension with upper and lower tubular control arms,
coil over adjustable gas shocks and a Moser 9 inch rear with
Winters aluminum center section. The frame is actually designed to
accommodate the side exhaust, it goes right through it. The exhaust
is nicely bent, has cherry bomb style mufflers and aluminum
extensions. Custom brake system with slotted rotors at each wheel.
All new lines, e-brake assembly. New fuel system, custom tank.
Bottom of motor and C-4 automatic are painted body color. Has
external oil cooler. Body of the body is all clean metal sprayed in
a durable bedliner. Everything is new under the car down to the
last washer.
The man that had this car built wanted a hot looking vintage
Mustang that drove like a new car. I would say the builder
accomplished his request with flying colors! Only 4,364 miles since
built on what is virtually a new car.
