Vehicle Description
This is a unique, low mileage, 2002 35th Anniversary Camaro SS.
2002 was the last year for the Camaro before a 7-year hiatus and a
total makeover for the car. It's powered by an aluminum 5.7 liter
(350 cubic inch) fuel injected V8 with 325 horsepower. This heavily
optioned Camaro has a six-speed manual transmission with a Hurst
short throw shifter. SS options include the forced air hood, SS
specific rear spoiler, high performance suspension, and a stainless
steel low restriction dual exhaust system. The original buyer
wanted his car to be very special, so he ordered the Preferred
Equipment Group with goodies like cruise control, fog lamps, power
windows, locks, remote hatch release, and power driver seat. On top
of that are t-tops, leather bucket seats, and the Hurst shifter.
Then SLP Engineering added their "Camaro SS Alteration Package."
This is easily identified by the ZR1 Chrome Plated Aluminum Wheels
that really give the car a premium appearance, and the front grille
with the SS logo. Less obvious but equally important is the Auburn
High Torque Performance Differential. You can verify its presence
by observing the diff cover - a very high tech looking aluminum
unit. Other items that came with the SLP package include a custom
fitted car cover, premium floor mats (which are in the trunk,
unused) two Camaro key fobs, and even a dash plaque. The whole
package is wrapped in a beautiful - and quite rare - Sunset Orange
Metallic with black roof. With the chrome wheels, the car really
stands out. This Camaro was driven occasionally and only in perfect
weather, and has logged a mere 4520 miles. With the original window
sticker, owners manual, and even a 2002 brochure, you can enjoy the
experience of acquiring a virtually new 2002 Camaro SS.
