stripes, V8 with a 4-speed, bucket seats, Camaro badge - quite
possibly the definition of a muscle-car in many enthusiast's minds.
Whether a first generation Camaro is on your bucket list or not,
this car is one that any car enthusiast can appreciate. The fit and
finish is remarkable. This beautifully finished Z/28 tribute car is
just what you would expect from a true Z/28 of the same year,
without the worry of the higher value of a true Z/28. According to
the VIN, this car did originally have a V8 engine, though not a
Z/28 option package. It has now been taken to the next level with
Z/28 exterior trim and badging. Under the cowled hood, nestled in a
very clean engine bay is a DZ coded 302ci V8 with a 4 bbl
carburetor. Gear selection is handled by a Muncie 4-speed
transmission with a Hurst shifter. Only 1,888 miles have been
logged on this car since restoration. The car starts, runs, drives,
and sounds great - everything has been methodically dialed in. This
classic was originally finished in Burnished Brown over Gold bucket
seats when it left the LosAngeles production plant in 1969. We
think that the current Hugger Orange over black interior definitely
fits this Camaro much better. Just like the exterior, the interior
of this car has been thoughtfully put together and shows very well
from top to bottom. Nothing was overlooked. Bucket seats, Hurst
shifter, center console with auxiliary gauges, tachometer on the
right and speedo on the left. Behind the wheel in this car is a
great place to be!
