We are very proud to present this absolutely incredible C-10. The owner of this truck wanted a really nice over the top 71 C-10 that was as good as you could get and yet a good driver.

He found a shop and a gentleman who agreed to do just that for him.
In the following pictures you will see what the original truck looked like when found. The project took a total of 1 year. From the fit and finish of the truck, It appears all good GM sheet metal was used.

We are not sure where this yard is, but what a selection of trucks. This body was found and chosen for the project. You can see it was a good base. What is there, is very solid. There was close to $100,000. spent on this project from start to finish..

There was no glove box tag inside, so other than the VIN decode, all they had to go with was that is was a 1971 4X2 1/2 ton V-8 pick up.

The owner had the shop do the truck as a Cheyenne Super. He wanted it as close to stock as possible. There are only a few items that are not stock to a 71 C-10. That is the fuel injection, the cam, the electric fan, the custom headers, and of course the fuel tank being moved to under the bed. There are a few engine dress up items that are not stock as well.

Features Include:

Rebuilt GM 350 ci V-8
Stage 2 Cam
Mechanical Ignition
FiTech Fuel Injection
Gets 25 MPH
700 R4 Transmission / 3.23 gears
12 Bolt Rear

Power Discs Front and Rear
w/Drop kit 3" Front 4" Rear

The nice thing about a vehicle that started as a shell, is that you end up with everything new. The project was started in February of 2015 and completed in May of 2016.

The Buddy Buckets were an option in 71 and the owner wanted that look. This set was found as just a frame and was professionally reupholstered.

The dash and gauges are in excellent condition.

Literally , no expense was spared in building this beautiful C-10. Looks like the original stock truck, but with just the right modifications.

The owner chose to go with the Cheyenne package because of the very intricately detailed door panels.

The bed was ordered from Mar-K Manufacturing.

The bed has 10 coats of lacquer between hand sanding.  So, when the builder wanted to put the fuel fill in the bed the owner said no way. He suggested a marine application which worked well and did not take away from the beautiful bed.

A solid rear window was chosen over the original sliding one.

The undercarriage is amazing. This is like a new truck. It's hard to believe there are 4098 miles on the truck since the build was completed.

A 350 ci GM engine was chosen for the project. It was completely rebuilt. Valve covers and everything in the engine compartment were done as stock. They did go with an Edlebrock air breather.

This is a great driving truck.  It's fast yet great on fuel. The owner has seen it do 25mpg with no problem.

An Old Air Products after market a/c unit was installed which looks like factory air.

This is one of the items not stock. The owner requested a fuel injection system that would not call for drilling any hoes in the body and would work with the factory intake and air breather.

The factory look rims were custom ordered from Wheel - Vintiques.
