Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this amazing survivor 1984 Pontiac Trans Am which is in fantastic original condition with extremely low actual miles of 4337 Actual documented miles. This Trans AM is Un-Restored and in like new overall condition. It appears the only thing that have been changed on this car from original is the battery, all else appears to be factory original. The car has been garaged every day of its existence and the non restored near perfect condition is a testament to the care its received over 34 years. This Trans AM features beautiful showroom condition all original paint, a stunningly beautiful original interior, dealer books and manuals, and the original numbers matching complete drive line with rare manual 5 speed transmission. This TA is absolutely solid and has no visible rust anywhere around the car or under the car, and is very solid with great lines and gaps. Its believed that this TA has never had any body work or paint work done and is all original sheet metal. This TA is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Blaze Red over Black/Grey cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the PHS Documents tag pictured above. The low mileage is not only validated by the amazing original condition of this TA but also by the Ohio title pictured below stating the mileage as "Actual," and the included Carfax.
Exterior
The Red exterior is in incredible original showroom condition. This Trans AM has never had any paintwork done and still hosts its original sheet metal and factory emblems, trim, and moldings. The paint is in spectacular condition for its age and for being original and there are no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car or under the car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the car and no crazing or cracked paint anywhere on the car. Both bumpers are in excellent shape with no pitting, dents, or scratches. This TA is extremely strait with great gaps and lines, and appears to be free of door dings, rock chips, scratches, and the like. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The original Goodyear tires have great tread left and the OEM wheels are in good condition. The tires are original and should not be driven daily or at fast sustained speeds. Daily tires should be installed and the original tires stored for regular daily driving. All weather stripping and window sweeps are original and in excellent condition. The hatch is factory correct and in near perfect shape and the spare tire has never been removed and the jack and tools are in the factory placement. The hatch struts work perfectly and keep the hatch open and work as new. THe cargo cover is in perfect shape and works properly. The underside of this Mustang is very honest and extremely solid and rust free, and has not had any touch ups. There are several tags, markings, and factory marks and stamps noticeable. All glass is factory original, and in excellent shape.
Interior
The Black/Grey cloth interior of this Trans AM is original and in superb condition. The cloth seat covers are factory originals and in near mint condition for their age and being cloth. The seat bolster area on both seats show no wear. The carpet is original and looks nearly perfect with no stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The stereo is original and sounds great and works as it should. The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, stereo, wipers, Power windows, power door locks, and blower motor on all speeds, all work. This Mustang has never been smoked in and there is no cigarette aroma what so ever, the ashtray and cigarette lighter are perfectly clean.
Mechanical
This Trans AM is in excellent mechanical condition with only 4337 actual miles on the original drive line and drives like new. A battery was added and everything else is original and not restored or upgraded. I have only driven this TA once but it drove like new and I shifted easily through all 5 gears without issue. The brakes work as they should, car steers as it should, and the car shifts as it should. I noticed no issues or items needing repaired or addressed. The tires are original and should be stored and replaced if daily driving is wanted. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The engine is clean and 100% stock unrestored outside of battery. The engine bay is very unmolested and is very factory correct and all of the lines, hoses, clamps, and wires, etc. appear to be factory original. This is a factory AC car and all AC components are still on the car and unmolested. The exhaust is factory correct and has been untouched as has the rest of the underside on this amazing TA. Nothing has been painted or touched up anywhere on this car including the underside. It is 100% factory original and honest. Many surfaces from the factory were not painted which surface corrosion over the years in inevitable. There are factory markings, tags, paint dobs in many factory places on the car and noted in the photos. This Trans AM has been loved and meticulously cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of this car and the way it runs and drives validates that. The outstanding originality of this TA and the way it drives is a true testament to prior owners care and love for this special Mustang. The AC system is not currently blowing cold air and needs charged properly to blow cold air.
