1967 ASTON MARTIN DB6 VANTAGE COUPE
--Balmoral Green Metallic with Tan leather interior and Tan Wilton Wool carpeting, fully restored by well-known marque specialists, Factory original LHD, Vantage specification, Rare factory air conditioning, uprated to 4.2 liter, 5-speed manual, Chrome wire wheels, 1 of 149 original LHD Vantage specification DB6 produced by the factory.
This rare DB6 Vantage Coupe had enjoyed long term European ownership until purchased by Tom Papadopoulos - Autosport Designs, Inc. in March 2001 from its German owner. It was subsequently used and enjoyed in Europe for touring pleasure by Tom Papadopoulos prior to being imported to the USA. Later that year it was sold to a well-known East Coast collector. It was driven in its already excellent condition for several years prior to the owner embarking, no expense spared restoration by marques specialists.
Some of its updates during its recent restoration are as follows: Engine rebuilt to High Compression 4.2 liter fast road specifications to include RSW fast road cams as well as larger inlet manifold, Triple Weber carburetors and large bore airbox with K&N high performance air filter. Large bore stainless steel headers and exhaust system. Electronic ignition system. The addition of power steering. An uprated air conditioning compressor and finally a Harvey Bailey suspension/handling package and the addition of 8” Dayton wire wheels with Pirelli tires.
Absolutely superb throughout, this DB6 Vantage is complete with all books, tools and records.
