Resto-Mod Camaro was introduced in 1967 to attack the Mustang
success. The first-generation Camaro lasted until this 1969 model
year when it again paced the '69 Indianapolis 500. For 1969, Camaro
had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the
car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a
heavy "V" can't and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear
quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much
lower, wider, more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened
with sculptured feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the
car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel.
The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body
color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either
side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels
with triple segment lenses. The interior was updated with square
gauges and an optional tachometer. The 1969 Camaro has never gone
out of style; its muscular proportions and dramatic lines are
forever linked to the Trans Am racers that stole the show that
year. It has carried that image ever since, and this magnificent
1969 Chevrolet Camaro builds on that reputation. This particular
1969 Chevrolet Camaro has been nicely restored with the addition of
some aftermarket components to improve the drivability and styling.
The exterior of the Camaro body has some factory add-ons such as SS
hood, front and rear spoiler, and SS badging. The power comes from
a 350ci V8 with MSD ignition, Long Tube Headers, Aluminum Radiator,
Aluminum Intake and Holley Carburetor backed by a Automatic
Transmission. Finished in beautiful Burgundy accented by Black
Hockey stripes make this Camaro look menacing. The interior is
nicely trimmed in Black with bucket seats and console. To complete
the look is a set of classic American Racing Torq Thrust wheels
wrapped in Nitto Nt555 tires. This Camaro will ensure driver and
passenger excitement travelling down any style of road. The added
performance upgrades increase the drivability over a stock Camaro.
