Vehicle Description
Almost a Million RX-7's were produced from 1978 through 2002,
making Car and Driver Magazine's ten best list five times. The RX-7
had three generational changes with a multitude of power plants and
advancing technology and they were all built as a sports cars. The
first generation built from 1978 through 1985 has gained cult
status among car enthusiasts. The RX7 had nearly a 50/50 weight
ratio and weighed under 2,500 lbs, it could reach speeds of 120 MPH
and a 0-60 time in under 10 seconds. This was all achieved by using
only a 1146 CC rotary engine configuration.
This particular 1984 Mazda RX-7 was purchased new by the current
owner and has been pampered ever since ownership was taken. The
RX-7 was purchased at the Dick Loehrs Auto Supermart in Kalamazoo,
MI. Highlights include Quartz dash clock, bucket seats, center
console, sound equalizer, owner's manual, rear defrost. When the
car was purchased, it had Thermo-Guard installed and has the
paperwork for this as well. The car even comes with the original
dealer key tag! This is a well-kept-highly original that is ready
for a new owner.
