Vehicle Description
A full custom classic, this 1947 Ford Deluxe Coupe Restomod offers
bright paint, a custom A/C interior, upgraded suspension, overdrive
transmission, a fuel-injected V8 heart, and much more. The total
package delivers an upgraded classic you'll love driving near or
far.
The Sky Blue metallic sets the tone for this coupe perfectly. It
has timeless style, while at the same time, it has the kind of
luster you can only get from a modern clearcoat. So it announces to
the world that this is an upgraded classic. And because they took
the time and money to get a true professional hand applying the
paint, there's a uniform shine that rolls evenly across this car's
many rounded curves. This has a ton of great classic brightwork,
like the wraparound chrome bumpers, art deco grille, and long hood
ornament. Plus, the full-length sweeping trim really sets this '47
apart. But then you also spot the 15-inch alloys borrowed from a
later model Ford. It's a cool nod to the upgrades within, and this
is not the last time you'll see more modern blue oval parts
integrated into this build.
Inside is more great custom work combined into this classic setup.
The gray cloth interior is a nice complementing color to the light
blue on the outside, and the exterior-matching dash proves it.
Individual bucket seats, custom door panels with armrests, and a
tilt steering column means you get genuine driver comfort in this
classic. Plus, the AM/FM/CD stereo and ice-cold R143a air
conditioning keep everyone happy. We like how there have been gauge
upgrades expertly integrated into the dash, including the large
Speedhut GPS speedometer. Plus, a clock borrowed from a 1977 T-bird
was utilized to complete this this symmetrical dash design.
Under the hood is the unmistakable look of upgraded power. This is
Ford's famous and hardy 5.0-liter V8. They took their time
installing this fuel-injected powerplant, and so it has the right
supporting components, including EZ wire harness, 12-volt upgrade,
new master cylinder, and an aluminum radiator. And the header-fed
dual exhaust makes a sweet sound that tells everyone this is an
upgraded machine. But more than just upgraded performance, this is
a well-rounded total package. The same F-150 that donated the motor
also donated its four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive.
Plus, you have power steering, front disc brakes, new modern tires,
and a Fatman Mustang II-style independent front suspension. So this
restomod really knows how to comfortably enjoy the miles.
The sale comes with build receipts, maintenance records, and photos
that document the full frame-off work that went into this restomod.
This is the classic that has a ton of comfort and charisma, so
