Vehicle Description
1995 FERRARI 348The Pioneering 348 Spider: Introduced in 1993 in
Spider guise, with production halting in 1995, with only 1,146
Spiders being produced worldwide -- out of those, only 556 were
imported to the U.S. Within this small number, and even smaller
number is revealed; in that out of those specified Spiders (such as
this splendid condition, end-of-production, and 7,XXX-mile
example), less than 70 of those units were featured in Ferrari's
scintillating Giallo Fer 102, or best known as "Fly Yellow", that
ever so brilliantly renders the luminosity of the Sun. When the 348
debuted in 1989, it featured distinctive design elements from the
gorgeous Testarossa, such as the parallel strakes, grilles and
rectangular taillights and was one of the last Ferraris to have its
development overseen by Enzo Ferrari ( with the other car being the
legendary F40); and when the Spider was launched in 1993, not only
was it the first Ferrari to offer a two-seater, open-air experience
since the highly revered Daytona, but it was also the first
convertible Ferrari to utilize the mid-engine and eight-cylinder
configuration -- exclusivity and history personified. This 348
Spider features a clean CARFAX, 2-owners from new and is offered
with its owner's manuals.Upon viewing this enrapturing automobile,
you're welcomed by an exterior showcased in an arresting Giallo
Fer/"Fly Yellow" finish, a manually folding soft-top in Black, side
strakes, grille work and a taillight design (all borrowed from the
iconic Testarossa), flushed door handle buttons, "DISEGNO di
pininfarina" lower side badging located on the lower rocker panel
areas,"hidden-headlights" (when retracted, lighting emits from the
halogen-projector beams), bumper integrated fog lights, front and
rear located "Prancing Horse" emblems in a Chrome-finish,
stainless-steel quad exhaust pipes, and 17 - Inch Star-spoke Wheels
(displayed against Black brake calipers with White "Ferrari"
script). The interior is appointed in supple Black Connolly Leather
and is accentuated by Black twin-stitching throughout the cabin.
The driver is pleasantly greeted by a 3-spoke and leather-wrapped
wheel (with Black stitching), Black instrumentation gauges
highlighted by Orange needles and numbering; "spider" script
located on the right side of the center console's cover (behind the
lid is an Alpine 3DE-7887 audio unit), center tunnel located oil
pressure and fuel gauges, as well as the HVAC controls, door lock
and gas door release buttons and the much-lauded, 5-speed
gated-shifter -- with both driver and front passenger being grasped
by bucket seats, featuring Black piping and twin-stitching.
Underneath the rear lid lies its high-revving (7,500 RPM redline)
and very Italian orchestra sounding 3.4L, eight-cylinder engine --
that when new, produced performance figures of 312 hp w/ 238 ft-lbs
of torque, 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, and a top speed of 171 mph while
having the power remitted to the rear wheels. Performance is
further enhanced by way of its relatively light weight of 3,2XX LBS
and factory updates such as a revamped final drive ratio, engine
management, suspension, and exhaust systems, provides for an even
more dynamic driving experience! For additional information
