1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 2 door sportsroof assembled in Dearborn,
MI with a 351-4V V8 and FMX automatic transmission. The Mach 1
performance-oriented option package was first introduced in 1969
and incorporated a number of enhancements including: a matte black
hood treatment, hood scoop with integrated turn-signal lights, hood
pins, competition suspension, chrome exhaust tips, deluxe interior
package, "Mach 1" livery, teak wood grain decals, full sound
deadening material, and high-back sport bucket seats. Dealer
installed options including a chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and
rear window louvers were also available. This particular example is
equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes. The
carburetor has been upgraded to an Edelbrock unit and an MSD
igntion system has also been installed. The exhaust is a 3"
